Photograph showing the Robert C. Francisco Studebaker dealership and open-air automobile showroom in Rancho Santa Fe. The building features an open showroom supported by brick columns, with Studebaker automobiles displayed inside and signage reading “Studebaker Robert C. Francisco” above the entrance. A handwritten note on the back states that the open-air showroom attracted considerable interest and publicity throughout San Diego County, that automobiles were displayed 24 hours a day without damage or theft, and that the business began with Studebaker-Packard and later Mercedes. The note also states that the site was later occupied by the Christian Science Reading Room.
