Photograph showing Valley Road curving through a grove of mature eucalyptus trees in Rancho Santa Fe. Utility poles are visible along the right side of the roadway. An inscription on the verso identifies the scene as “Valley Road in 1923” and locates it at Via del Alba at the intersection of Los Arboles. The lower left corner bears the inscriptions “R.S.F. 53” and “5-23-23,” together with an embossed photographer’s stamp.
