(NY17 - March 25) BEATLE AND BRIDE BED ON PEACE -- Beatle John Lennon and his Japanese bride, Yoko Ono, sit in wide bed in an Amsterdam, Netherlands, hotel today under two improvised signs stuck to the wide picture window reading "Har Peace" and "Bed Peace". They will stay in the bed for seven days and seven nights to protest violence in the world, the couple said. "Everybody can let his hair grow, evrybody can stay in bed," John said.
