Description

One (1) black and white photograph, with sepia tone, of Aloys Weidner (Br. Wunibald), born 17 Sept. 1883. The photo is of Aloys First Communion, c. 1890. Aloy is standing next to a small four foot table with a white edge-laced cover. There is a plant on the table and Aloys is holding a candelabra with a ribbon no it. In his other hand he is holding a small Bible and rosary. He is wearing a dark suit with white undershirt and floral boutonniere. The frame has "Kersting Chicago" imprinted in gold print on the bottom, and "Aloys Weidner Br Muntibald" in pencil. The back is decorated with a drawing of a Greco-Roman woman drawing a landscape with a globe next to her. Printed is "K, from the Ground Floor Studio of H.C. Kersting, 730 Milwaukee Ave Near Noble, Chicago, ILLS., Duplicates of this picture can be had at any time."
