One (1) black and white photograph attached to a light colored mat board. Photo is a family portrait of Mathias Joseph Theobald family (brother of Maria Theobald Raupp). In center row is from left: young man in dark suit seated, Mathias seated with young boy standing in front of him, a wooden table with white lace cloth cover and bouquet of flowers on it, Maria Stifft Theobald (his wife), a young boy, and a young woman seated. Behind them standing left to right: two young boys, two young men, two young boys. There is a rug on the ground and blankets hanging behind them with a framed photo of Bernard Theobald (Mathias Father) on the right. Right corner of blanket is falling down. Behind them looks like house siding? Everyone is dressed up in suits or nice shirts and pants, and dresses or skirts for girls. Handwritten on bottom in ink: "Mathias Theobald family (picture hanging in back is his father Bernard Theobald - born 1799 Germany)". Handwritten on back: "Mathias Theobald brother of Maria Theobald Raupp, Mathias died age 99.5 years old in Sherburn, Minnesota. Left, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, moved to Sherburn Minnesota 1899" Photo dated based on writing and age of youngest child - born 1894, toddler in photo.
