Description

One (1) mechanical metal treadle singer sewing machine. The sewing machine is metal, painted black with gold painted designs throughout, including the name "Singer" on both sides, a sphynx on the front right side, and decorative floral motifs and designs on the side and base. There are plated covers embossed on the front and side that open with a dial or two screws. The number plate is on the front bottom right: #G7054676. The sewing machine is hinged on one side and folds into the wooden table. The wooden table has an extension piece that folds out to the left of the front. It can be detached by six screws. The wooden table that the sewing machine is attached to has two long wooden drawers on each side and a drawer that flips down in the front, to reveal three pockets to place supplies. The drawers have locks but the key is not with the donation. Some sewing supplies found in the bottom and top right drawers were separated into other plastic bags. The table underneath the machine has a rounded wooden container to hold the sewing machine when not in use. The legs are a heavy iron, with wheels on the bottom, and winding metal decorative designs on both sides. The wheel is on the right bottom side facing the front of the machine and to the left is a connecting bar with "SINGER" in metal between the bars. Underneath "SINGER" in the middle is a grated metal square pedal. Items found in the drawers: Top Right Drawer: - three nails - wooden thread spool - packaging from singer sewing machine needles - medal cap pieces - part of machine? - paper clip - red paper Bottom Right Drawer: - 11 clothing pins - button - metal silver pin back - 5 metal machine pieces, all very different parts, unknown origin - 3 pins, different styles
