Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from January 30, 1920. Receipt is rectangular with black printed text on a white piece of paper with black dividing lines denoting where to write and handwritten notes in pencil. The receipt is for Otto Weidner and details his sale of eggs to the store as well as the purchase of various groceries. Otto Weidner sold the store 4 dozen eggs at $0.62 per dozen eggs totaling a purchase on the part of the store of $2.48. Otto also paid from the store one tab for $0.30, two books for $0.30, one gallon of syrup for $0.95, one Oleo for $0.42, one package of rice for $0.18, and one pair of gloves for $0.30. The total bill is for $2.45. The bill is subtracted from the sale of eggs bringing the total money the store owes Otto Weidner up to $0.03. The total bill is marked as paid The black text is as follows, from top to bottom: "Buffalo Grove, ILL; M; Bought of Firnbach & Raupp DEALERS IN GENERAL MERCHANDISE; Creditor; Debtor"
