Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from April 5, 1919. Receipt is rectangular with red printed text and handwritten notes in pencil. The receipt is for Geo Hertel who bought Chicks(?) for $77.50. Bill total was $77.50 but $50.00 was paid by cash making the new total $27.50. The bill was paid April 10, 1919 and is marked as paid. There is a red stamp of 40 close to the bottom. The red text is as follows, from top to bottom: "Bought of Firnbach and Raupp: Dealers in GENERAL MERCHANDISE; Buffalo Grove , Ill.; Sold to; Address; If there are any Errors in this Bill Return it at once; MC CARNEY ALLIANCE O."
