Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from April 9, 1919. Receipt is rectangular with black printed text and handwritten notes in pencil. The receipt is for Geo Hertel who bought 2 ivory for $0.24, 2 palm olive for $0.25, 1 egg dye for $0.05, easter egg for $0.25, 1 yeast for $0.05, 2 salmon for $0.60, 11 seeds for $0.83. Bill total was $2.27 and is marked as paid. There is a red stamp of 36 close to the bottom. The black text is as follows, from top to bottom: "Bought of Firnbach and Raupp: Dealers in GENERAL MERCHANDISE; Buffalo Grove , Ill.; Sold to; Address; If there are any Errors in this Bill Return it at once; MC CARNEY ALLIANCE O."
