Description

One (1) framed photograph of Mary Gloden/Leikam circa early 1900s. The photo is black and white photograph painted to be colored. Frame is oval shaped, with widest part horizontal. Glass in front is rounded and concave. The photo shows Mary from the waist up, wearing a pleated top with a button at the neckline, and a scarf hanging in front. She has her hair up in a bun on her head, and she is wearing round glasses. The photo background is red. The photo is encased in a gold painted wooden frame. The front has decorative embossed features on the sides and top and bottom. There is also repeating oval shaped embossing along the outer edge of frame. On the back, the wood is bare (not painted) and has two looped nails on the sides with a brown cord attached. There is a cardboard backing in the center, with brown tape along the edges, holding it to the frame. There is a faint black stamp on the bottom right corner, that reads "Made and sold by Chicago Portrait Company, Chicago, ILL".
