Scope and Content

Color postcard image of Westminster Presbyterian Church, Rockford, ILL with white border. Image of the exterior of the church and pink flowers around it. Back of the postcard has note in pencil handwriting dated Oct 3, 1917. Note discusses the cold weather and need for a quilt for Bernard's bed. Addressed to "Miss Josephine Raupp; Arlington Heights, Ills." With a green one cent adhesive stamp. Only half of the postmark stamp is visible. "Dear Cousin Josephine How are you am all well hope the same of you this is a great live I tell you we have to sleep with all the window open now and only got one blanket I sented home for a quilt and pillow. It's offull. I guess there are a few from Buffalo that will have to go but we can't change it From, Ben"
