Postcard with black and white illustration on the front and postcard text on the reverse. Front illustration of a 1911 portrait of a woman with long fluffy hair and a rose in her hair. Handwritten text in lower right corner "Your Sweetheart, Anna." Lower left corner copyright 1911 and printer shield logo. Postcard has divided back, printed in Germany. Printed text: "Empire Gravure no. 127." "Darling Harry, Well, I started to work, but, gee, it was a gloomy day and also a gloomy night. My eyes seemed to be dull all day, and I felt bum. I hope you felt good. Now, don't go bowling again when something turns up, because it will never get over here and don't worry about me, as I will stick to you through thick and thin, to the finish.
