One (1) brown wood RCA-Radiola 18 radio receiver. Radio is made of dark brown wood, in a long rectangular shape. On the front is a metal plate with a black dial that turns a numbered strip up and down to play a radio signal. The name of the radio is embossed on the front: "RCA-Radiola 18, Reg. US. Pat. Off., See License Notice on Bottom". The metal plate is an oval shape with a small oval piece that sticks outward at the top, like an umbrella. Four screws affix the plate. On the right corner of the front is a metal plate with a knob in the center that can be moved left and right. On the left front bottom corner is another round knob.
There are two (2) spots in the back where wires come out. On the bottom right is the power cord, with a plastic and metal plug at the end, but in between two cords that were once covered together have become undone. One cord is brown and one is green with white lines. On the back left are two green cords that come out the same spot, and have frayed ends. They are covered in cloth and rubber that is damaged.
The top of the radio has a door that opens up to reveal the tubes inside. On the left back are 6 tubes, different shapes and sizes, lined up, and another tube on the right, on a separate base piece than the other 6. The 6 tubes are attached to a metal block with a metal turning piece in front of it. The piece has 3 metal rounded pieces that are clumped into 10 disks each. On the right are two metal rectangles, with two in the front, and one in the back right, to the right of the tube. On the left of the far right tube is a metal plate with voltage information. A 1" x 1" piece of paper was found on that plate, with red text from Albany Electric and Radio Shop with handwritten signature over the date sold/date tested spot.
On the bottom is affixed a black and white label with more information about the make and model of the radio.Dimensions
