Scope and Content

One (1) reference ledger owned by Al Weidner of Arlington Heights. (Unclear if individual is Albert or Albinus A. Weidner br. 1927, but we do know Albinus lived in Arlington Heights, OR someone not listed in our Weidner Genealogy). The reference ledger contains handwritten notes in red and black ink about a wide variety of topics and issues, including exercise, business, books, and academic topics, and many more. Topic titles and introductions are usually written in red ink, while most information is written in black. Not all pages are filled but at least 50 percent of the 400+ page book are filled with notes. The cover has a hardcover dark binding on front with red leather type plastic on the sides. The binding is worn and has a brown paper over it. There is a gold decorative bordering between the red and black parts of the cover. On the back inside cover there is a color sticker advertisement of people in a car. On the inside front cover there is a sepia toned sticker of a typewriter. In the top left corner there is a sticker that states "Al. Weidner, Arlington Heights, Cook County, Illinois".
