Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from April 22, 1919. Receipt is rectangular with black printed text and written notes in pencil. The receipt is for John Tedup (?), who bought one bag of flour for $3, ten pounds of sugar for $1.05, one pound of tea for $0.80, five soaps for $0.35, four seeds for $0.30, two cornflakes for $0.24, and one stove black for $0.10. Bill total is $5.84. There's a red stamp of 36 close to the bottom, with the bill marked as paid. The black text is as follows, from top to bottom: Bought of Firnbach & Raupp; Dealers in GENERAL MERCHANDISE; Buffalo Grove, Ill.; Sold to; Address; If there are any Errors in this Bill Return it at once; MC CASKEY ALLIANCE O.
