Woven straw boater hat with a wide oval brim and flat-topped crown. Hat has a 2.25 inch wide black grosgrain ribbon band around the exterior crown circumference and a 1.7 inch wide leather sweat band on the interior. The hat has a hand woven spiral pattern and the interior has a soft leather sweatband and satin lining with company logos.
This particular boater was made by the Ecuadorian Panama Hat Company in New York for Marshall Field and Company probably around 1922.Material
