Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from April 5, 1919. Receipt is rectangular with black printed text and handwritten notes in pencil. The receipt is for Will Firnbach, who sold 4.5 doz. eggs @ $0.36 per dozen, and bought 1 stove wick for $.0.25, 1 pound coffee for $0.33, 2 pounds onions for $0.10, 2 pounds onions for $0.15, 1 pack peas for $0.20, 1 cigarettes for $0.17, 1 Hand(?) brush for $0.05. Bill Total was $1.25 but the store owed $1.62 for the eggs so they paid him $0.37. The bill is marked as paid. The black text is as follows, from top to bottom: "Buffalo Grove , Ill. ; Bought of Firnbach and Raupp: Dealers in GENERAL MERCHANDISE; Creditor; By, doz. Eggs @; By, lbs. Butter @; Debtor"
