Flat green wool hat, military issue with metal insignia badge attached to lower left flap area on the front. Hat has a reinforced perforated area to attach the badge. Soft with a wide, heavy horizontal fold, and center crease. Interior is lined with brown satin, brown leather sweatband has black stamp text: "W J Kiddle" and fabric label with text: "100% All Wool; 7 1/4." Badge is metal with a screw backing. It is a Marine insignia of a globe, anchor and eagle. The reverse side of the eagle has a sharp barb to keep the badge in place on the hat.Material
