Description

Green wool jacket with lapels and brown Bakelite embossed button closures, tan lining. Military issue. Jacket has two breast pockets with button closures and side pockets with button closures. Yellow embroidered eagle patch on right shoulder. Red embroidered chevron patch on left arm sleeve. Two metal lapel insignias with screw backings. Both are Marine insignias with a globe, anchor and eagle. The reverse side of the eagle has a sharp barb to keep the badge in place. Arm lining has black stamp "WJ Kiddle; 5M; College Hall Fashions; Contract NOm 44416; Dated April 25, 1944."
