Scope and Content

One (1) Firnbach and Raupp store receipt from January 29th, 1919. Receipt is rectangular with black printed text and handwritten notes in pencil. The receipt is for Adam Weidner, who bought 20 '' of Sahlet(?) for $1.25, 1/4 pound of five miller(?) for $0.50, 1 salmon for $0.22, 2 ivory soaps for $0.24, 1 Palm Olive for $0.13, 1 pound of crackers for $0.20. Bill total was $2.54, with an additional past bill of $1.59. The new bill total being $4.13, and was paid by cash. The bill is marked as paid. There is a red stamp of "15" close to the bottom. The black text is as follows, from top to bottom: "Bought of FIRNBACH & RAUPP: Dealers in General Merchandise; Buffalo Grove , Ill.; Sold to; Address; If there are any Errors in this Bill, Return it at once; MC CASKEY ALLIANCE O;."
