Group of two black and white prints. Identical image of five people at Buffalo Grove creek. Three women are seated on the bank wearing bathing suits, a man is standing waist deep in the water, and a boy is standing near a tree on the right side of the image. (1/2) Pencil mark HH33 on reverse with stamp: "RAYS LaCrosse, WI; Guaranteed Prints" (2/2) Blue ink inscription on reverse "The old swimming hole called 'The S.' Ruth Barre Emmerich, Louise Emmerich, Gladys Welter Gerschefske, Eugene Welter, Urban Welter in the creek 1936." Accompanying archivist note indicated: "Swimming at waterhole. Buffalo Creek corner of Lake-Cook Rd and Raupp Blvd. (Emmerich Park).
