Scope and Content

One (1) J.G. Weidner & Sons shoe advertisement from the late 1800s/early 1900s. Advertisement is rectangular with black text. There is a black ladies boot drawn in the middle. The printed text is as follows: "J.G. Weidner & Sons; Aptakisic and Buffalo Grove, ILL.; New Friend; But we know it's a good one and nothing is spared to make it the most durable one.; genuine Kangaroo Calf, sensible heel and last, warranted solid throughout; Sizes 2.5 to 7; $1.85 less 10 per cent; Price $1.67 net.; ...lust the shoe for wet and rough weather.; satisfaction guaranteed. No trouble to show goods." There are handwritten additions in pencil on top and bottom right corners and right middle side.
