This orginal oil painting based on a photograph in the RFM files. It depucts the village of Reedville as it appeared in September 1892. On the left today one would find the Elizabeth house, a fine bed and breakfast (Captian Morris's house). On the right is the location of the present day Gables (Captian Fisher's house). The people, ox cart, and the geese in the painting were added by the artist. At left, the lady in black is Winnie Wilson with her geese. Winne grazing her geese was a filmiliar sight around the village.
