In 1944, a second boat was built and also named the "Lancaster." She was built in New Orleans for the Army (#FS 209) and was used by all three services for inshore logistics and island hopping.
She was later bought by Zapta Haynie Crop., Reedville, VA, and remains in service in 1996.Collection
