The "Little Joe" was built in Weems, VA, in 1922 by Humphreys Marine Railway. She was named for the co-founder of Bellows & Squires; smaller than the "Jospeh F. Bellows," she was named "Little Joe."
She was leased by the Navy in1943, manned by the Coast Guard, the stationed at San Juan, PR for patrol use; returned to owner in 1944. She foundered and was sunk off Ocean City, MD.Collection
