The "Sinepuxent" was built in 1944 for the US Army where it was used as a freighter (FS-231). With Coast Guard crew, served in the Pacicif during WWII; later owned by Candian interests, named "Blue Laker" and "Zebrula".
Converted to menhaden fishing in the 1960s and renamed the "Sinepuxent."Collection
