The "Warren J. Courtney" was bult in 1912 in Wilmington, DE, for C.E. Davis Packing Co., Fairport, VA. She was served in WWI as a mine sweeper (Courtney SP 375), rigged for foreign service and assigned patrol duty in Breest, France.
She sank during a violent sotrm while returning to the US in April 1919.Collection
