The "William T. Covington, Jr." was built in 1923 in Solomons, MD, for the McNeal Dodson Co., Reedville, VA. She used by the US Navy for patrol duty in WWII, then later bought by Standard Products Co., Reedville, VA, in 1952.
She burned on Parrot Island Rappahannock River, VA while en route to NC for scrapping in 1972.Collection
