Head scarf 33" x 29" white cotton with red cross in center of one side with 3 1/4" hem. Red Cross volunteers making bandages fastened this item into a cap to keep their hair from getting into bandages. This scarf belonged to Adelaide Corliss who also has given the Society her white Red Cross uniform she used both as a volunteer in WWII. Scarf in like new condition.
