Description

A quilt made by the Ripon Women's Club in 1981. Quilt is white with floral cross-stitching in pink, purple and green. 30 individual squares are emboidered and signed by club members.

Context

In 1981, the Ripon Women's Club made the quilt for a raffle ash the Club's March auction at Grace Lutheran Church. Club members Maggie Stewart, Arlene Carley, and Joanna Gehrke were among those who worked on the quilt. The quilt took about 214 hours to complete, according to then club president, Judy Egbert.
