In 1928, music lovers in Ripon were glad to learn that although Edgar Zobel and Lillian Zobel were no longer with the Ripon College School of Music, that they had opened a new music school called “Zobel Music Studios.” The Studios were in the business district for 2 years, before being relocated to their home at 603 Watson St., where it continued for 10 years. They offered instruction in piano, organ, brass, string, and reed instruments. The staff was comprised of teachers that were known for their level of excellency and the extent of their training.Acquisition
