Description

Phonograph record album with 6 records all belonged to Edgar Zobel. Including 1) Piano Duos played by E. Luetscher and L. Zobel in slip case #1. 2) Ripon centennial March 18, 1958 Piano Duo by E. Luetscher and L. Zobel on one side and piano duos plus E. Zobel on trombone on other side in slip case. #2. 3) Slipcase #3 "Boys State" March by E. Zobel played by Boys State Band and on other side by same band - "Frascati" by Casto. 4) Slip case #4 Side 1 "32nd Division March" played by Badger Boys State Band 1952. Side 2 blank. 5) Slip case #5 side 1, "Irish Lullaby" - note says "Good" 1955, side 2 "Vanished Army" 1955. Note says "Fair." 6) - 11) empty. 12) Labeled on slip case "Organ Music - Edgar's Compositions played by Mrs. Bessie Yager." Record side 1 "Forest Moods," side 2 "Waves at Play" and "Organ Melody." Album spine broken and part missing but not detached. Records all show use. Collection kept "as is" as example of Zobel Family talent and contribution to Ripon's enrichment through music. To be stored in Pickard House Basement, Archives.
