The Suona is a traditional chinese woodwind instrument. It is a double-reed aerophone made of a brass bell and a conical wood body. It is known for its unmistakable piercing, bright, and high-pitched sound. It was typically played at traditional Chinese weddings, funerals, dances, and military functions.
