Black & white 6 x 10 photograph of the Square, looking northeast from Fond du Lac. 1880s. Writing on face says "Looking northeast from a elevation (probably the windmill above Evans' Bldg) at southwest side of Square. The Spurr Building in lower left corner indicated the date as being in the late 80's. Visible businesses are Wood's Hotel, Luther, dentist, Printing Office, B.H. Phelps & Co.
