Color 3.5 x 5.5 postcard of front of Republican House restaurant located at 303 Blackburn. Back of postcard gives historical description of Republican Party founding in the LWSH which had been moved in front of the "Pub House" on Blackburn. The Republican House restaurant was owned by the Republican Education Foundation from the 1950s - 1970s and was a popular businessmen's and public gathering place as well as College students taking their parents there for Sunday brunch on special occasions.
