22-1/4 x 27-3/4 World War 2 laminated poster. Colored picture of a tattered American flag flying as smoke rises up into the atmosphere. Says in white lettering . ."we highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain". Written in red on the bottom: "Remember Dec. 7th". There are tears along the edges that are covered with tape but is intact. Poster is from Office of War Information (OWI) #14, Washington, D.C. 1942.
2024: Has been laminated at some point in the past.
07/2024 update: Believe donated by Kitty Worzalla in the 1980s as part of a World War 2 collection. Article from Daily Northwestern 12/29/1985, Worzalla shows connection. See Worzalla Family Folder 2007.0386.Collection
