Crazy quilt. Ca. 1890. Appr. 70 x 73-1/2. Light green backing material. Purchased by donor at a rural Ripon farm auction in the 1980s. Appraisal description discusses needlework patterns, technique, finish. Blue sateen backing described in appraisal. Overall condition good. Some silk pieces disintegrating.
2017 Note: Donor says she paid $500 for quilt at a farm auction, but cannot remember the location.
