Mulit colored crazy quilt mafde with velvets and silks. 50-1/2" x 42-1/4". Has hand embroidery on some pieces. Various color stitching and stiching patterns on edges of each piece. Edged and backed in black fabric with pink roses. Back and front tied together with black thread. Marked A68-101 and then had the 101 crossed out. No listing of this quilt under donations from 101. (Possible donor Mr. and Mrs. Bartels, donor #205, made by a grandmother from late 1800s.)
Note: 10/13/2017 - a photograph of this quilt hanging on the wall at 513 Woodside was found in RHS Archives 2006.0281 House and Residential Streets in Ripon box. Written on the back of the photo is "The H.L. Fargo basement recreation room on Woodside Ave" and under that "513". No indication in the Fargo donation file that the quilt was donated by them.
