Adamski family quilt. 1930s era. 71"x01" Assumed to be made by the women of the Adamski family: Balbina (mother), Agnes, Mary, Gertrude (daughters). Hexagon Grandma's Flower Garden pattern. Yellow fabric hexagon in the center of each flower. Up to 6" edge of orange/black/tan fabric. The edging fabric is found on the back. Batting filled and tied on the backside with green yarn. Some staining.
Donor is Balbina's granddaughter. Kathleen's mother, Elizabeth, was youngest daughter of Balbina. The Adamski's had 16 children and lived on Fenton St. See Family folder in Archives.Collection
