Description

C. 1965 flutophone used by Connie Jess Zolkoske, RHS Class of 1972, when she was in 5th grade. Fifth graders learned to play the flutophone before going onto a band instrument in 6th grade. 11", ivory plastic with wine colored band between bell and mouthpiece. Wine colored plastic on mouthpiece. Seven holes on the front and one on the back. "Flutophone, Trade Mark, A Trophy Product" is molded into the plastic just under the front mouthpiece. "patent numbers DVI39332-D139333 Other Patents Pend" molded into the plastic on the back between the upper hole and finger grip. Store in the PH 2nd floor closet with musical instruments.Moved to Artifacts Storeroom 5/23.
