Description

Described by donor: This bell is a "teacher's" bell from the collection of Verna Krause Tinkham. Her family (Krause) lived in the homestead at 833 Watson St., until they died and Verna and her husband Clayton Tinkham* moved there. Clayton was an insurance agent in Ripon for many years. The house is still standing and is over 100 years old. *There are 2 Clayton Tinkhams. See Pedrick Notebooks.
