Sepia 6 x 8 photograph of Mueller's Saloon, 119 Watson, according to donor Chris Charley. Photo undated. According to Pedrick Notebooks, saloon started by Gustav Mueller in the late 1880s at that location. He was killed in an accident in Milwaukee in 1894, and his brother Karl took over the saloon until Prohibition in 1919. Both men were born in Germany. The three men in the photo are unidentified. Whether the bartender is Gustav or Karl is unclear.Photograph Details
