Artist Statement: Several years ago I attended the Amish auction
held near Neshkoro, Wisconsin. At that time of
the year the pole building was packed with
people ready to bid on varieties of chickens and
large lots of beautiful potted flowers. I spotted
this horse and buggy parked near the trees at
the edge of the crowded parking lot.
