Depicts farm landscape with red barn in foreground and the roof of a house under the hill in the background. Donor, Don Thomann, stated this was the Clarence Kuehn farm located just inside Ripon's south city limits on Union St. The farm buildings shown were on the east side of the street. The view is taken from the east looking west. No evidence of damage to the painting other than mounting. Possibly faded as in gilt frame without glass. Gilt frame slightly chipped, removed and not accessioned. Painting pre-dates 1970 when Mrs. Faustman died and the Kuehn farm land was developed starting with Longfellow House and homes east of it.Collection
