Artist Statement: Round Oak wood stoves were built in a town in Michigan that I was familiar with from visiting there on summer vacation trips. The stoves were beautiful and over-the-top in designs. They were parlor stoves. I imagined someone coming in from the cold on a winter’s day wanting to warm his or her hands in front of the stove. Even before coats and hats were taken off. $125
