Description

A five-color silkscreen overglaze print on a white glazed tile blank depicting a stone-ender barn with numerous hex signs, a windmill for drawing water, and an outdoor bread oven, in support of the text, “Farm Yard - Rural Pennsylvania”. A matching towel/wallhanging was also produced; see images. These items were available singly or in matched gift sets.

This design is printed on the thinner tile body used by Country Prints/Ceramo Studio from 1962 onward. Design, screen production, and mixing of colored overglazes performed at the Country Prints workshop, Gill, MA. Screen printing of overglaze colors, firing and finishing by Ceramo Studio, NYC.
