A four-color silkscreen overglaze print on a glazed white tile blank depicting twelve types of cheese. From top left: provolone, muenster, camembert, mozzarella, blue, edam, pineapple cheddar, swiss, parmesan, gouda, cheddar, and cottage. This tile appears in the brochures “Country Prints by Robert Darr Wert and Neighbors”, c.1963 and c.1966; see images. A matching wallhanging was also produced; see images. These items were available singly or in matched gift sets.

Design, screen production, and mixing of colored overglazes performed at the Country Prints workshop, Gill, MA. Screen printing of overglaze colors, firing and finishing by Ceramo Studio, NYC. This tile is printed on the thinner tile base used by Country Prints/Ceramo Studio from 1962 onward.
