Description

This is a Country Prints production sample retained as a print record. A small breakfast or luncheon placemat set with a three-color silkscreen printed placemat and a matching one-color napkin. Placemat imagery includes flowers and fruit rendered in a loose interpretation of Pennsylvania “Dutch” folk art. The napkin is printed with a wide green border. Both are printed on a lightweight cotton canvas finished with fringed edges. This is amongst the earliest designs produced by Country Prints upon its founding in 1948.
