Description

A coffee can cover with a four-color silkscreen print on off-white linen depicting an antique pour-over coffee maker on a gridiron atop the word “coffee”, flanked by berry laden branches of a coffee plant. This coffee can cover was part of Wert’s Motif Gourmet collection, a line of decidedly design-forward kitchen goods that veered away from his typical Americana themes. This cover was offered in turquoise and orange colorways. This example is in turquoise. This cover is part of a suite of kitchen accessories designed to coordinate with the Motif Gourmet Herbs 280 and Cheese 284 wall hangings. These items were offered individually and in matched gifts sets. Edges are finished with turquoise seam binding to match the turquoise textile ink.
