Description

A three-color silkscreen print on bleached fine-weave linen mounted within a matted single-fold greeting card of brown cardstock accented with silver flecks. The subject of the print is aligned with Wert’s “Holiday Kitchen” wall hangings, a theme he explored many times with delightful results. Cooking implements, decorated gingerbread cookies, a glass ornament, and pine boughs complete the composition. Affixed to the inside face of the card with glue along the top edge, the linen print hangs freely behind the opening of the mat.
